Commonwealth Catalog & Interlibrary Loan
If we don't have it, we can get it!
When books, microfilm, audiovisual materials and periodical articles are not available via Encore, the Minuteman Library Network Catalog, these materials may be available via either the Commonwealth Catalog, or then the Interlibrary Loan system. For assistance, please visit us at the Information Desk, or fill out and submit the form below.
The Commonwealth Catalog extends your search beyond your local library’s resources. In one easy step, you can search through millions of items at participating libraries across Massachusetts to find the books, DVDs, and music you’re looking for. Make a request and it will be delivered right to your local library for quick pickup. You know what you want — let the Commonwealth Catalog help you get it.
Please search the Minuteman catalog first. If the material you want is not available in the catalog, please log in below to use the Commonwealth Catalog. For additional assistance, please Ask A Librarian!
Materials not available from non-Minuteman or Commonwealth Catalog Libraries may be obtained after you submit an Interlibrary Loan Request.
You may do this in person at the Information Desk, by telephone at 781-320-1045, or by filling out the online request form below.
When using the online Interlibrary Loan request form, fill out as much information as possible about the item you want. Your request will be processed by the Interlibrary Loan Department. If there are questions about your request, you will be contacted by telephone or by email. Please allow at least 2 weeks for receipt of books or media items. Articles usually arrive within a few days. You will be contacted as soon as the item you requested has arrived. If we are unable to obtain the item you requested, you will also be notified. For any question regarding your request, call the Adult Services Department at 781-320-1045.
