Westwood Youth Services Librarians

Felicia O'Keefe, Director of Youth Services : fokeefe@minlib.net

Felicia started working in Westwood in 2019 as the Teen Services Librarian. She is now the Director of Youth Services. Felicia hosts the Inbetweeners Book Club for 4-6th grade, the Middle School Book Club and Cover to Cover Book Club for high schoolers. She also presents Baby Rhyme Time. She is a Hufflepuff with Ravenclaw Rising (at least according to this BuzzFeed Quiz) and an embarrassingly big fan of any Netflix Rom-Com. Felicia's favorite books include the The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert, A Heart in a Body in the World by Deb Caletti, The Creakers by Tom Fletcher and whatever book she is currently reading. Outside the library, Felicia loves rock climbing, traveling, hiking and, most importantly, laying on the couch reading.

Caitlyn Leopardi, Youth Services Librarian: cleopardi@minlib.net

Caitlyn started working in Westwood as the Islington Branch Library Assistant in 2018. She is now the Youth Services Librarian at the Westwood Public Library. She presents Branch Books and Boogie at the Islington Branch and Move and Groove at the Main Library. Caitlyn hosts the First Chapter Book Club for children in 2nd and 3rd grade and the Graphic Novel Book Club for kids in 3rd and 4th grade. Her favorite books include Grumpy Bird by Jeremy Tankard, Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston, The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy by Anne Ursu, and the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas (but not the first book, iykyk). When she's not here, Caitlyn enjoys catching up on her favorite shows while working on her latest crochet project, reading, and spending time with her family and pets.

Karen Cagan, Children's Library Assistant: Kcagan@minlib.net

Karen has been working in the Children’s Department since 2003. Karen presents Creative Kids (grades K-1), a dramatic arts program, in addition to helping out with other programs in the Department. Her favorite children’s books include: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, I Love You like Crazy Cakes by Rose Lewis, The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall, and Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary. In her spare time Karen enjoys photography, spending time with family, scrapbooking and baking.
