Bookclubs

The Westwood Public Library Children's Department offers book clubs for all ages.

Share your enthusiasm for reading with other book lovers and join us for lively discussion, games, and snacks of course! In order to keep discussions manageable and enjoyable for all, space is limited in all bookclubs and registration is required. Email the Children's Department at wwdchildrens@gmail.com with any questions you have and sign up on the website. All clubs meet monthly between October and May. Please note, signing your child up for one date will sign them up for the year.

First Chapter Book Club for 2nd and 3rd Graders

Join us one Friday per month @ 4 pm for this fun, in person book club. We will discuss a book and play related games or do crafts! Email Caitlyn Leopardi with any questions: cleopardi@minlib.net and you can sign up through our calendar of events.  Some books we have read in the past include:

Graphic Novel Book Club for 3rd and 4th Graders

If your child can't get enough of graphic novels, they aren't alone! This new book group option for graphic novel fans will have them reading new favorites, old classics, and everything in between! Each month, we'll discuss a book and do related activities. Kids will even get the chance to have their voice heard when we vote on our future picks for book club! Email Caitlyn (cleopardi@minlib.net) with any questions. Space is limited, register on our website.

The InbeTWEENers Book Club for 4th-6th Graders

Join us one Tuesday per month @ 4pm for an interactive book club for 4th-6th graders. You get a chance to vote on what we read each month. We will read, discuss and vote on our favorite title at the end of the year. Space is limited. Register on the website! Email Kristy (kpasquariello@minlib.net) or Felicia (fokeefe@minlib.net) with any questions.
