Getting Connected @ Westwood Public Library

Whether you are at the Main Library or the Islington Branch, staying connected and getting things done is simple. Enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building or hop onto one of our public computers and take care of everyday tasks with ease—printing, copying, and faxing are all available at your fingertips. Whatever you are working on the library has the technology you need, right when you need it.

Frequently Asked Questions

At the Main Library, multiple networks are available through your device’s Wi-Fi settings. There is an open network with no password required and additional password-protected networks. At the Islington Branch, there is one network for the Wentworth Hall Building.

Absolutely. Public PCs are available at Main Library and Islington Branch. There are no reservations and computers used on a first come, first served basis. No library card is required to use them.

If you are using your own device in the library, you can email files to our library inbox and request staff print them. You can also print directly from the public PCs. The cost is 10 cents per page for black & white and 25 cents per page for color.

The Main Library and Islington Branch both have multi-function Xerox copiers available for use and staff are available to assist as needed. Copies are 10 cents per page for black & white and 25 cents per page for color.

Scanning is also available using the Xerox copies at the Main Library and the Islington Branch. Scans can be sent directly to your email address and there is no charge.

Yes. Our copiers have a scan-to-fax function that serves that purpose. The cost is 25 cents per page for US & Canada and 50 cents per page for International. Information Desk staff are available to assist and can print a confirmation page if needed.

We can! You can always drop by the Information Desk at the Main Library or at the Islington Branch Service Desk with questions about your own devices or if you have an issue using the public PCs.
