Learn, Connect, Thrive
The Westwood Public Library’s 2023–2025 Strategic Plan envisions the library as the vibrant heart of community life—a welcoming place to learn, connect, thrive, and be inspired. Guided by community input, the plan focuses on inclusivity, creativity, and accessibility, with new programs, refreshed spaces, and expanded outreach that bring the library’s resources to more people, wherever they are. From transforming the Islington Branch into a creativity hub to offering more hybrid and mobile services, WPL is evolving to meet Westwood’s changing needs while continuing to surprise, delight, and bring people together.
The Westwood Public Library Strategic Plan for 2023-2025 was approved by the Library Board of Trustees on June 27th, 2022 and was submitted to the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) in July 2022.
