Are you part of a book group in your neighborhood? Let the library help. Our Reader Services team will request copies of the book for your members, find digital resources such as eBooks and audiobook versions of your titles, and even make book suggestions.

Book club kits have a 6 week checkout period.

Let us know! We will do our best to get you multiple copies of whatever your book group is looking for.

When it comes to best sellers, it can definitely be difficult to get physical copies of the book. If we decide to make that particular title a book club kit (as we did with big bestseller such as The Correspondent and Yesteryear), we could get your group 6 copies to use, but would require a bit of prep time to order and prepare the kit. We are happy to try and secure instant digital downloads, when they are available.
With your Westwood Library Card, you have access to the digital catalogs available on Libby and Hoopla. The first step is to check those sources for the title you want. However, it is important to know that not every title is available as an instant download. Many books have long waitlists just like a physical book would. However, we are always more than happy to strategize and plan for the best way to get books to you. Reach out to your personal librarian and we will help you strategize!
We can always request more copies of the book you need from other libraries in our network. You are welcome and encouraged to check out a book kit (when applicable) and then we will arrange to get as many other copies as you need.
