Small Group Study Rooms
Two study rooms on the second floor are available for no more than 4 people per room. Rooms may be reserved up to 7 days in advance. Wi-Fi access is available. Empty study rooms may be available for walk-in use.
Individual Study Rooms
There are four study rooms on the first floor available for quiet work and study for individual use only. Rooms may be reserved up to 7 days in advance. Wi-Fi access is available. Empty study rooms may be available for walk-in use.
Conference Meeting Room
The Dedham Savings Conference Room has a maximum capacity of 25 and includes hybrid Zoom and audiovisual technology for presentations. Available to non-profits and local civic organizations. Fees apply for businesses/for-profits.
Community Meeting Room
The Roche Brothers Community Room has a maximum capacity of 75 and includes audiovisual technology for presentations. Available to non-profits and local civic organizations. Fees may apply for businesses/for-profits.
Small Meeting & Media Room
The small meeting and media room is on the first floor and is available for groups up to 8. Zoom Rally Bar is available for hybrid meetings. The room is also sound-dampened and has podcasting equipment available for self-guided use. Wi-Fi access available.
More Spaces @ the Library
We also offer inviting non-reservable spaces for study, meeting up with friends, or simply for a quiet spot to unwind. Find cozy corners for reading, bright tables for collaboration, and comfortable seating for conversation or reflection.
Meeting Room Usage Fees
Fees may apply to for-profit organizational requests or other organizations outside of civic and government groups. Please review full meeting room and fee policies before submitting a request. If you have questions about fees, contact the Assistant Library Director.
Community Room (max capacity 75)
- Half Day 9am to 12pm: $250
- Half Day 1pm to 5pm: $250
- Evening 6pm to 9pm: $250
- Full Day 9pm to 5pm: $500
Conference Room (max capacity 25)
- Half Day 9am to 12pm: $200
- Half Day 1pm to 5pm: $200
- Evening 6pm to 9pm: $200
- Full Day 9pm to 5pm: $400
More Information
By using a study room, I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Study rooms may be reserved by library patrons in grade 7 or older.
- Study rooms are not available for private tutoring or for any kind of business or “for profit” use.
- I may use the study rooms for no more than 3 hours per day across both study rooms.
- My reservation is void if I arrive more than 15 minutes late.
- No food is allowed in the study rooms.
- I will not vape or smoke within the library.
- I will not leave personal items unattended. The Library is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items.
- I will remove all trash and wipe down surfaces before leaving. Cleaning products will be provided by the Library.
- Study rooms should be vacated 5 minutes prior to closing.
- The Library reserves the right to resolve schedule problems by adjusting or canceling study room bookings.
- The Westwood Library Rules of Conduct apply to anyone using the study rooms.
