
Welcome to the Summer Reading Program for Teens
Teens entering grades 6-12 can sign up to participate in our Teen Summer Reading Challenge on Beanstack. To get started, visit westwoodlibrary.beanstack.org and create or log into your Beanstack account. You can download the mobile app to your device as well.
How Does It Work?
Between June 1 and August 31 (you can start anytime!), track you reading for chances to win prizes! There are various to complete/win the program!
- Read for 30 days! That’s it! The days do not have to be consecutive.
- Once you read 30 days, you get a free book from the Friends of the Library and a sticker
- Read up to 60 days to earn more tickets towards prizes.
- You also can earn prizes from a teen treasure chest for completing special activities!
- Just signing up for the challenge gets you entered into a raffle drawing for a gift card to a local business.
- Gift card locations include Starbucks, Muffin House, Comella’s, Bubbling Brook, Playa Bowls
- A day of reading counts as reading for 15 minutes or more.
A companion log is available, but reading and activities must be logged into Beanstack to earn and enter raffle tickets.
